Does the app have to be published?

Hi,

I'm trying to figure out if the app has to be published (and approved) at the AppStore or not.

The Requirements read:

A URL for your app on iTunes, if it's available

But on entering a submission:

Have you published your app to a commercial app store (i.e. Apple iTunes, Google Play) after August 1, 2012? (Note: Apps must be published AFTER August 1, 2012 to be eligible.)

So I'm a bit confused now.

Thanks for clearing things up, and I'd love to submit my entry :)

    Sorry, this is unclear!

    Your app doesn't need to be published, as long as you submit a demo video. :)

    Can't wait to see what you build!
